  • Is Tsunami Hair Black-owned?
    We are 100% Black-owned and independently operated. We are not backed by any corporation or venture capitalist. Our company is proudly owned by one Black man from the Houston area.

    Does this product really work?
    Yes, our products work well. However, results vary from person to person. Some customers have seen results in as little as a week, while others may see results in 30 days.

    How soon can I see results?
    Results vary per person. We advise that you use the product consistently for 30 days before expecting results, but some have seen improvements in as little as a week. Just use the product according to the instructions on the bottle. Consistency is key for good results.

    What are the ingredients?
    We use a variety of natural ingredients, but we always stick to a core plant-based foundation. All of our products are made with plants, and we do not use any silicones, sulfates, or parabens. You can also visit our website to view individual product ingredients.

    Do your products help with alopecia?
    We have had customers with alopecia see results from using our products, but we always advise consulting your doctor before use.

    What should I buy first?
    Our Leave-In Conditioner is our #1 best-selling item, helping to prevent dryness, damage, and hair from falling out in clumps.

    Can your products be used on children?
    Yes, we’ve had customers use our products on children as young as 3 years old. We recommend using your own discretion. Our products are safe and made with 100% natural ingredients.

    Do I need the whole line, or can I just use the Leave-In Conditioner?
    You can choose to use only the Leave-In Conditioner, but your hair will benefit even more from using the whole line. The L.O.C. method is best for curls.

    Can you use your products on relaxed or permed hair?
    Yes, our products work well on all styles, including relaxed or permed hair. Most people are in the process of doing the big chop, so we recommend finding a regimen that works best for you.

    Do you ship internationally?
    Currently, we ship only to the United States, Canada, and Australia. Please note that customs fees are not included and are not covered by Tsunami.

    What are your shipping costs?
    Shipping costs vary depending on your address and order. You will review shipping costs at the time of purchase.

    What makes your products different? How do Tsunami products differ from other brands?
    At Tsunami, we pride ourselves not only on hair growth results but on overall hair health. Our products are made with natural ingredients, some with zero fragrances. We want to help our customers achieve healthy hair and build confidence. Unlike other major brands, we are 100% Black-owned. We don’t have a board of directors dictating what we can or cannot do. We don’t follow trends or create unnecessary collections to earn money. Our line is tried and true and suited for natural beauty. Aloe vera is tried and true!

    What are your best-selling products?
    Our top-selling product is our Leave-In Conditioner.

    What would you suggest for those with color-treated hair?
    Those with color-treated hair can receive great results from all of our products! The Leave-In Conditioner and our Shea Butter Aloe Vera & Vitamin E Shampoo and Conditioner are great starters.

    Do I have to continually use your products once I get the desired results?
    No, our products are meant to get your hair back on the right track, but you will reap full benefits if you stay consistent.

    Will my hair fall out if I stop using your products?
    We have not experienced any negative effects from discontinuing use of our products.

    What forms of payment do you accept?
    We accept debit and credit card payments only at this time.

    When will my order ship?
    All hair care products take 3–5 business days to process. Day 1 starts the day after your order is received. Tracking information is sent via email after processing.

    What shipping courier do you use?
    Currently, we ship all domestic orders with USPS.

    How long will it take to receive my order?
    After your order has shipped, it can take 3–5 business days to arrive.

    Do you offer tracking for shipped orders?
    Yes, you will receive tracking information once your order has left the processing window (7–10 business days), though it is possible to receive it sooner.

    How long have you been in business?
    Tsunami has been in business for 5 years. We have dominated the Houston area and are working daily to exceed bigger brands.

    What is your return policy?
    We do not accept returns or exchanges. No cancellations or changes can be made after an order is placed. If your order has not shipped, we can make changes to the mailing address or email address if needed.

    Do you offer discounts?
    Yes, we often have sales and send promotional offers to subscribers on our mailing list.
